WELCOME TO OUR sling library sessions
We are an inclusive organisation and we welcome all families including those who are adopting, single parents, disabled parents and children, all sexualities and communities. We use an accessible venue (details below) and our team are happy to work with you to accommodate any specific requirements. Babies and older siblings are welcome at all our events.
All sessions run on a prebooked basis, we cannot currently accept drop ins. We are run on a wholly voluntary basis. We ask for £5 per family to cover venue hire and refreshments. To hire slings we require a £50 cash or PayPal deposit. Fees and other details available here.

Our new location (since July 2024) is Oakwood Children’s Centre, Clyde Crescent, Cheltenham, GL52 5QH.
On arrival, please sign in at the Children’s Centre reception and let them know you are here for the sling library, they will then signpost or guide you down to the family room where the library is based. All adult attendees must be signed in.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Oakwood Children’s Centre can be accessed using the A bus, which travels from the town centre regularly throughout the day.
PARKING
If you are travelling by car, there is parking in the residential areas immediately around the Children’s Centre. Please take care not to obstruct driveways and dropped curbs. There is no parking at the centre itself.
ACCESS INFORMATION:
The entrance is accessed via a wide step free pathway and ramps to automatic doors. The venue has an accessible toilet and step free access throughout.

2026 Sling Library Sessions
Sling Library sessions run once a month and are operated using pre-booked slots to help ensure the safety of all our visitors and volunteers. You must book a slot, we cannot accept drop in visits, except to return hired carriers. If you are returning a carrier and would like further assistance, please book a slot on the return date as well.
Booking is a two step process - first book a slot via eventbrite (see links below - these go live 1 week before the session).
Then visit: https://www.paypal.me/cheltglosSL to pay the £5 session fee. Your space is not confirmed until payment has been received. This payment covers you and another adult family member if you wish to bring someone along, as well as your child(ren), and incudes refreshments. (Do not pay until you have booked a slot as we only have a limited number of spaces available - if you pay without having first booked a slot we will not be able to assist you).
