Cheltenham and Gloucester Sling Library Hire Fees and Deposits

 
The library is run on a voluntary basis, all fees are used to support running costs such as room hire, insurance and travel expenses.  any funds we receive over and above these regular costs are reinvested into the library to help us expand the range of slings and carriers. 

We provide sling hire following a sling consultation at one of our monthly meets. Please ensure you have attended a meet before completing the hire form. To hire a sling you will need to bring a £50 deposit in cash or cheque, this is given back upon the safe and timely return of the sling or carrier with no damage.  In the event of loss or damage some or all of the deposit will be kept by the library to replace the item. 2024 hire fees
Stretchy Wraps - £5 a month (max hire period is 6 months)
All other carriers - £15 for four weeks/until the next meet (sometimes its 5 weeks)

Security Deposits
£50 by cash or paypal

How to return your hired sling or carrier
It is your responsibility to return a sling/carrier when it is due.  If you return it late you may be charged fees for the additional time it has been in your possession.  If you wish to extend or cannot return for any reason please get in touch by email.

When you return a sling you do not need to book a slot unless you need additional help, just look for a peer supporter who is available and they can assist you in processing the return.
